About Battleplan
This large-scale World War II strategy simulation prioritizes thoughtful decision-making over quick reflexes, immersing players in the intense and methodical atmosphere of the Western Front from 1944 onward. You take command of military divisions in operations that can stretch over weeks, navigating vast landscapes and historical terrain. The game emphasizes planning; you draw strategies directly onto the map, coordinating offensives, defensive lines, and supply routes while managing units like infantry, armor, and artillery. A standout feature is the robust chain-of-command system that ensures your forces operate like a real military organization, allowing for detailed reorganization and the preservation of veteran units. With the ability to pause and accelerate time, you can manage extensive campaigns while feeling the weight of logistics and supply lines. This game is perfect for fans of in-depth strategy titles like Hearts of Iron and Graviteam Tactics.
